Chiang Mai-based post-punk dream pop band Echo Resort returns with their latest single, “Back to Earth”, set for release on July 9, 2025, via Bangkok-based label Guesswhat Records.

The track blends lush vintage synths with ambient textures and hauntingly emotive vocals, marking one of the band’s most introspective and atmospheric releases to date.

Back to Earth unfolds like a quiet storm—an intimate journey through confusion, vulnerability, and the urge to reconnect with one’s true self. The repeated chorus line “Take me back to Earth” becomes a mantra, a plea to return to the grounding force of feeling alive, real, and present.

“There was something buried that needed to move,” says lyricist Joelle. “Not explained. Just felt.” This line captures the essence of the track—emotion that defies words, but demands to be heard.

About Echo Resort Formed in 2020 in Chiang Mai, Echo Resort crafts music that blends post-punk intensity with dreamy, atmospheric textures. The band first caught attention with their 2022 debut EP “The Beginning of the End”, earning a loyal following in Thailand’s indie scene.
